We can basically confirm now that NVIDIA will release the two next generation Pascal architecture products, the GTX 1080 and the GTX 1070 and they are all equipped with the GP104 core. However according to the information this core line-up has the third product.
The GTX 1080 and the GTX 1070 are numbered as the GP104-400-A1 and the GP104-200-A1, with 8GB RAM, 256-bit width, but only the GTX 1080 will feature the new GDDR5X while the latter one will use GDDR5 memory.
The latest exposure showed that the another GP104-150-A1 core will be named the GTX 1060 or the GTX 1060 Ti. The memory will also be GDDR5, 6GB of it. The bus width will be 192-bit.
It’s rumored that the GTX 1060 (Ti) won’t be released until June but will definitely before the release of the GP106 cores in autumn. The price will likely be around $230 to $300.
